LaMelo Ball and his PUMA Basketball Family are ready to cement the next chapter of their ongoing partnership—the MB.06—globally with the release of the "Shooting Star" colorway.
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard’s latest signature sneaker debuted in Puerto Rico during the summer, bringing the youngest Ball Brother’s otherworldly style and proven performance to a nation-specific launch. With the “Shooting Star” drop, LaMelo and the Big Cat Brand are further telling their story while improving upon on-court performance through a "Dark Amethyst/Lavendar Alert"-colored pair scheduled to release at a wide array of retailers on Friday, Sept. 25.
As with every PUMA MB offering thus far, the “Shooting Star” MB.06 packages the 25-year-old’s unmistakable, bold aura into a carefully-considered basketball shoe. Ball’s sixth marquee model delivers a redesigned stance that provides lower-to-the-court feel when compared to its predecessors. Overall, the silhouette features a streamlined build that couples responsive cushioning and a dialed-in fit to offer stability, explosiveness, and comfort from tip-off to final buzzer.

The "Shooting Star" PUMA sneakers indulge in pastel purple tones that fall in line with LaMelo’s extraterrestrial brand identity. Hits of baby blue animate supporting accents on the midsole, around the heel, and across the outsole.
"Not From Here" and "1 of 1" messaging land throughout the project, speaking to LaMelo Ball’s uniqueness on-and-off-the-court.
