A$AP Rocky, PUMA & Manchester City Present "Don't Be Dumb" Jerseys

Rakim Athelston Mayers—best known across the globe as A$AP Rocky—is performing at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester on Saturday, Sept. 5. To commemorate the occasion, the New York City-native has teamed up with PUMA to release special-edition Manchester City jerseys featuring graphics and branding related to his fourth studio album, Don't Be Dumb.

The project lives at the intersection of music, football, and fashion, presenting Rocky's generation-inspiring taste within a sports context. Two custom jerseys have been developed as part of the collaboration: a black-and-archive-gold option and one that indulges in the "Team Light Blue" seen on Man City's 26/27 Home shirt.

As aforementioned, both apparel items by A$AP Rocky are unmistakably part of his universe—specifically the Don't Be Dumb project that he's currently touring. The predominantly black jersey features long sleeves that include branding elements from the PUMA King franchise. "AWGE," "A$AP," and "Don't Be Dumb" logos also claim real estate across the shirt, which sees a large callout to "Manchester" on the bottom-half of the back.

The second shirt in A$AP Rocky x PUMA Football capsule partakes in the sky blue identity of the "Cityzens." Details throughout the shirt remain true to the partnership, as does a stop-sign graphic reading "Stop Snitchin, Manchester" on the back. Fans will have chance to customize their 26/27 Home, Away, and Third jerseys with limited-edition "A$AP 11" name and number printing (while stocks last).

"PUMA’s got deep roots with Manchester City, and I wanted to bring my own perspective," shared A$AP Rocky in an official press release. "We created something that feels true to my design language and the Don’t Be Dumb ethos, while still honoring the club’s legacy."

The black-and-gold long-sleeve jersey will be available exclusively in Manchester on Friday, Sept. 4, at the City Center event. The "A$AP 11" name and number jersey will be on sale at the artist's concert (Sept. 5) and the official Man City Stadium and Arndale Stores on the same day.

A second drop of the long-sleeve jerseys takes place at the Etihad Stadium Store on Sept. 5 ahead of Man City's match against Coventry City.
