PUMA is looking to follow up its expansive, multi-colored collection with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with a tamer, but equally playful capsule inspired by the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The latest range of footwear enjoys prideful makeovers rooted in each of Hogwarts' Houses.
Previous offerings from the Harry Potter x PUMA collaboration have brought some J. K. Rowling's specific books and phrases to life across lifestyle and performance categories. Breanna Stewart's third signature basketball sneaker even took on a skull and snake-laden makeover last year. PUMA's next magical lineup forgoes the Stewie 3 in favor of the fashion-forward Palermo and Easy Rider.
The latter silhouette, which sees its origins in running, opts for a predominantly 'Black' color scheme. Its leather and suede construction injects a touch of luxury into the decades-old design, while special hangtags, contrasting hues, and a series of emblems link the sneaker to the Harry Potter universe. Both left and right sides of the PUMA Easy Rider don golden H logos on the spine. The colors associated with all four Hogwarts Houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw – lend their signature colors to eyelets, stitching, and parts of the midsole across both sides. Each Houses' animal emblem is stamped on lateral and medial sides of the heel. A shimmering Quaffle appears as a special adornment to the sneaker.
By comparison, the PUMA Palermo sees two styles for members of either Gryffindor or Slytherin. A mix of lifestyle-focused materials appear across the upper, with each pair opting for either 'Red/Gold' or 'Green/Black/Silver' color schemes. The names of each Hogwarts House appears on the foldable, football-inspired tongue, while their emblem lands on the spine.
Enjoy official photos of all impending styles from the growing Harry Potter x PUMA collection. Pairs are expected to land via PUMA.com before March ends, with pricing ranging from $100 to $110 (Adult sizing).
