While there may never be a consensus as to who has the best handles in NBA history, folks like Jamal Crawford and Kyrie Irving have praised God Shammgod's skillset. PUMA Basketball has recently done so as well with a special edition of its new All-Pro NITRO™ 2 basketball shoe.
if you're unfamiliar with Shammgod, the short version of his story is as follows: Born in Brooklyn, but raised in Harlem. He played basketball at La Salle Academy with future NBA champion Meta World Peace. He had a decent collegiate career at Providence College before joining the Washington Wizards in 1997. His time as a player in the NBA was short-lived, but one of his moves—the Shammgod—has lived on in the League.

Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, and other NBA icons have incorporated the risky crossover move into their arsenal, catching defenders off-guard and wowing audiences in the process. The move is recreated on the special box of Shammgod's PUMA All-Pro NITRO™ 2.
A long-time proponent of the Big Cat Brand, the now-Dallas Mavericks player development coach has previously received commemorative editions of PUMA Basketball designs. His latest takes on a mismatched black, blue, and white color scheme between eight and left shoes. A new PWR Print upper and restructured NITRO™ SQD foam midsole deliver enhanced performance benefits from the silhouette's predecessor. Shammgod text on the tongue and branding on the insole and outsole further cement the ex-player's legacy in the world of hoops.
Enjoy official photos of the All-Pro NITRO™ 2 ahead. Pairs are scheduled to release via PUMA.com on Friday, July 18, for $140. Inventory is already available via DICK'S Sporting Goods.
