Jordan Brand is officially introducing the Tatum 5, the latest chapter in Jayson Tatum’s signature line and a model designed around one central idea: control.
That concept comes directly from the way Tatum approaches basketball. Rather than relying on chaos or constant speed, his game is built around pace, timing and precision, with the ability to stay composed and dictate possessions. The Tatum 5 takes that same approach and translates it into a lightweight performance shoe intended for players who want to move with confidence and stay balanced under pressure.
The model also arrives as the one-time NBA champion enters another stage of his career, with Jordan Brand positioning the shoe around his continued growth as a complete player. The Tatum 5 is designed to feel responsive without adding unnecessary weight, keeping the focus on movement, stability and a secure fit.

Jordan Tatum 5 Tech Specs
A new dynamic utility strap becomes one of the defining additions, helping lock the foot in place while keeping the build streamlined. Underfoot, a 10mm forefoot Air Zoom unit provides responsive cushioning and energy return for quick first steps and explosive movements.
The support system continues through the midfoot and heel, where a molded wrap and structured heel design are intended to keep players stable through hard cuts, stops and changes of direction. Traction comes through a herringbone pattern using HART 2.0 rubber, giving the outsole a setup built around controlled footwork.
Jordan Brand also pushed the Tatum 5 in a more refined direction visually. Lightweight materials and breathable mesh ventilation zones run throughout the upper, helping reduce bulk while giving the model a cleaner, more modern shape that can translate beyond the court.

Personal storytelling remains part of the design as well. Tatum’s signature No. 0 returns with a new treatment inspired by the St. Louis Gateway Arch, tying the model back to his hometown and continuing a theme that has followed his signature line from the beginning.
Jordan Tatum 5 Colorways
The “Sunrise” colorway will be one of the first Tatum 5s to release, taking inspiration from the early-morning skies over Boston. The pair works darker tones into the upper before transitioning into brighter pink and orange accents through the midsole, tying back to the changing colors of a sunrise.

Its counterpart, “Sunset,” will launch alongside it and flips that same idea toward the end of the day. Darker purple and black tones are paired with warmer gradient detailing, giving the two debut colorways a complementary look while nodding to the hours Tatum puts into his game from morning through night.

A third pair, the “Laser” colorway, is expected to follow later. The bronze-toned design is the most personal of the group, covering the upper in laser-style graphics that reference different parts of Tatum’s life and career, including his jersey number and Celtics championship rings.

Across all three colorways, Jordan Brand adds another family detail behind the tongues, where the names of Tatum’s sons are featured.
The Jordan Tatum 5 will debut in full-family sizing on September 24 in China, with a global Nike.com release set to follow shortly after. Expect additional colorways to surface throughout the year and into 2027.
