A Detailed Look at Russell Westbrook’s Rare Air Jordan 10 PEs

With Russell Westbrook announcing his retirement from the NBA today after 18 seasons, we’re looking back at one of the more obscure player exclusives from his time in Oklahoma City: a matching set of Air Jordan 10 “Home” and “Away” PEs made for the former MVP in 2014.

The two pairs lean heavily into the Thunder’s colors. The “Home” edition uses a predominantly white leather upper with bright blue running across the tongue and midsole, while orange accents hit the lace loops, branding and outsole. Its “Away” counterpart flips the upper to black while retaining the same blue and orange detailing.

Both pairs also feature personalized detailing near the ankle, further separating them from standard retail Air Jordan 10 releases. Together, the two colorways were created specifically for Westbrook during his OKC days and never saw a public release.

The Air Jordan 10 was one of several retro models Westbrook received in PE form before eventually establishing his own signature footwear line with Jordan Brand. More than a decade later, the “Home” and “Away” versions remain a rare snapshot of that period in his career.

With Westbrook officially calling time on his NBA career today, the two PEs make for a fitting look back at an era when some of his most memorable sneakers were made exclusively for the hardwood.
