It's no secret that basketball is a global phenomenon, but few institutions are as tapped in with the game overseas as Jordan Brand is. In anticipation for Beijing's legendary streetball tournament in the Dongdan neighborhood, the eponymous imprint has prepped a Jordan Legacy 312 Low commemorating the site.

Part of a larger collection that includes the Air Jordan 1 Low, the hybrid design is officially clad in an understated "Oatmeal/Coconut Milk/Sail/Medium Olive" color scheme. The reserved palette allows for even the slightest of bold accents to revel in the spotlight. Profile swooshes, laces, and textile construction at the collar deviate from their cream-colored surroundings via their dark green makeups. The Air Jordan 3-inspired outsole also indulges in "Medium Olive" and gum brown, which not only keeps things interesting but also injects a summer-friendly air into the pair.

Left shoes feature a special emblem on the top of the tongue honoring China's love of basketball. A similar collection-specific logo is visible through the semi-translucent overlays on the spine. Together, each aforementioned component helps reaffirm Jordan Brand's belief in and appreciation of the basketball culture that exists outside of the U.S.

Firm Nike.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of writing, but that's expected to change soon. Pairs of the Legacy 312 Low "Dongdan" should be priced at $145.
