The Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" Returns in 2025

The Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" is coming back in 2025, joining an impressive roster of Jordan releases for the year ahead — including a retro of another AIr Jordan 8 OG — the "Aqua."

This iconic silhouette, first released in 1993, is celebrated for its vibrant design and its connection to the beloved cartoon character who famously teamed up with Michael Jordan in the 1996 film Space Jam.

The Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny," known for its White/Black/True Red colorway, stands out with its distinctive design elements. The shoe features crossing straps and a bold pattern on the heel guard, characteristic of Tinker Hatfield's design. This retro release pays homage to the shoe’s memorable appearances on both Bugs Bunny and Marvin The Martian in Nike's marketing campaigns.

Since its debut, the "Bugs Bunny" has seen multiple retros, including releases in 2003 and 2008 as part of the Air Jordan 8/15 Countdown Package and 2013. Now, 12 years after its last appearance, the Air Jordan 8 "Bugs Bunny" is set to return for the Fall/Holiday 2025 season, bringing back a piece of sneaker and pop culture history.
