Lola Bunny Gets an Air Jordan 3 for Space Jam's 30th Anniversary

Another day, another Space Jam-related product from Jordan Brand surfaces.

Having already amassed a handful of retro sneakers and over a dozen apparel items as part of its 30th Anniversary "Space Jam" Collection, Team Jumpman has unveiled a Lola Bunny-inspired Air Jordan 3 for Kids. The pair originally surfaced by way of e-commerce photos of a Girl's graphic t-shirt and fleece sweatpants outfit that also forms part of the celebratory project.

Though not part of the iconic film's original run like the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam," the AJ3 has potential to be forever linked with the film as younger generations engage with the anniversary range; its playful ensemble and vibrant color scheme could be a lot more memorable among impressionable sneaker fans than the predominantly "Black" AJ11.

Akin to the "Air Bugs" Air Jordan 1 Low, the "Lola Bunny" Air Jordan 3 replaces traditional Jumpman logos on the tongue with a cartoon bunny silhouette. The modified logo features either a bright pink or rich yellow finish between left and right shoes, respectively—colors that reference Lola Bunny's look.

Elsewhere, eyelets also take on the duo of eye-catching hues, while contrast stitching around the upper's lower-half indulges in pops of pink. Laces also bring some flair into the mix with their blue-and-pink color scheme.

A hangtag charm inspired by Lola Bunny's fuzzy tail accompanies the Kid's Jordan retro, further bringing the animated character to life. Lastly, a semi-translucent spine sets the foundation for bright pink Jumpman and "AIR" branding; the MJ's iconic logo sees a gradient ring of yellow, pink, and blue tones behind it.
