The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Howard University" will be released in October 2024 — but contrary to initial reports, it won't be a reissue of the player-exclusive.

Instead, a new college-inspired colorway will be released, but it will come packed with Bison Pride.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Howard University" is a true homage to the university's rich heritage and colors. Here, it's anchored by a clean white upper and bookended by Bison-friendly Midnight Navy and Gym Red at the forefoot and heel, respectively. The former takes on an added mini Swoosh. Completing the look is a Muslin-tinted midsole paired with a navy rubber outsole.

Below are first looks at the retail pair and some apparel pieces, followed by a handful of early speculative mock-ups.

A release is expected on October 12th, though Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed.
