The Crocs Ripple, designed by footwear design industry veteran Steven Smith, has relatively flown under the radar. With the year's hottest months here, the EXP™ team is offering the futuristic slip-on in new colorways, which could help make the YEEZY FOAM RUNNER-reminiscent model more popular.
As its name suggests, the Ripple is partly-inspired by the small series of waves left in water. This detail is seen on the profiles of the experimental Crocs, as well as across the overall shape of the design. A "Steel/Moonlight" color scheme divvies up real estate on the latest take of Smith's proposal, with the latter tone claiming the ripple-like panels along the sides. The darker grey covers the majority of the laceless style.
Ripple sees an ultra-soft Mellow™ compound footbed and heel pods, which deliver comfort with every step.
The latest drop of the futuristic EXP™ offering releases via Crocs.com on Thursday, July 9, for $90.
