If you've been to any major city across the U.S., Europe, and Asia over the last two years, you're likely familiar with the ASICS GEL-1130™ silhouette. Born as a budget-friendly running sneaker in 2008, the design has been modified into a mule ahead of Summer 2026.
Championed for its accessible price point, comfort, and techy aesthetic, the GEL-1130™ Mule features all three components that've made the standard version of the retro runner a success. Its build simply offers easier slip-on-and-off access, eliminating a traditional sneaker collar. Nevertheless, the heel is still safely secured, with standard lacing offering a personalized fit if needed.
Underfoot, the sneaker-mule keeps its GEL® technology intact, promising fans of the original GEL-1130™ the same type of comfort in a new package.
The GEL-1130™ Mule is expected to release via ASICS.com and select retailers by July. Expect the slip-on to be priced around $100.
