adidas is celebrating 30 years of partnership with Zinedine Zidane with a limited-edition Predator built around some of the most important moments from the French icon’s career.
The Zinedine Zidane Predator Elite arrives in a premium white and metallic gold colorway, with blue, white, and red accents along the lateral side paying tribute to his achievements with France. The design also brings together a number of personal details tied to Zidane’s journey from Marseille to the biggest stages in world football.
One of the main details appears on the fold-over tongue, which features Zidane’s personal logo in gold, inspired by his famous volley in the 2002 UEFA Champions League Final. A personalized elastic strap runs across the tongue, with the right boot listing Cannes, Bordeaux, Turin, and Madrid to represent his professional career.

The left boot instead looks back at Zidane’s grassroots beginnings, with references to La Castellane, Saint Henri, and Septèmes. Elsewhere, lenticular branding across the Three Stripes shifts between the adidas logo and ZZ lettering, while a bespoke ZZ30 mark commemorates the three-decade partnership.
Zidane’s history with Predator stretches across some of the defining moments of his career, including France’s 1998 FIFA World Cup triumph and the gold Predator he wore in 2006. Over the years, he has also become one of the most recognizable faces in adidas football culture, extending his relationship with the brand beyond the pitch through projects including Y-3.
“Predator holds a special place in that story,” Zidane said. “It was the boot I wore during some of the most important moments of my career and one that became synonymous with the way I wanted to play the game.”
Produced in limited quantities, the Zinedine Zidane Predator Elite is available beginning September 7 through select adidas retailers, with an online release through adidas UK on September 8.
