adidas Imagines the Superstar as a Jelly Fisherman Sandal for Summer 2027

The adidas Originals team is looking to take over Summer 2027 with its all-new lineup of jelly shoes. Having previously previewed the Samba Jane Jelly and Taekwondo Jelly, the brand is readying the Superstar Jelly Fisherman Sandal to offer another bold, trendy Women's footwear style.

At quick glance, the newly-surfaced silhouette could easily be mistaken for a random, brand-less jelly sandal, but closer inspection reveals otherwise. A single-piece semi-translucent upper delivers comfort and flexibility, while the open fisherman-style construction enables top-notch breathability perfect for hot summer days. Signature 3-Stripes branding helps create the popular fisherman-style layout, combining adidas heritage and classic footwear design.

A secure strap closure offers a snug, fuss-free fit, with nearby Trefoil logos making the jelly sandal unmistakably part of the Originals brand. Additionally, the Three Stripes team has brought the Superstar's iconic shell-toe design to the forefoot, presenting the spirit of the decades-old style in a new light.

An official adidas.com release date for the Superstar Jelly Sandal hasn't been confirmed as of writing, but that's expected to change as Spring 2027 inches closer. Currently, on Kids' sizing has emerged, but Adult Women's pairs may also appear at some point.
