Bad Bunny is in the final stretch of his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour. Once he's able to take a prolonged break from performing his sixth solo studio album, the Puerto Rican star is expected to launch more footwear product with adidas.
According to Instagram user @hypedsolutions, one of the silhouettes in the funnel is the adidas Superteam Cavehiker, a new model from Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio and the Three Stripes. As its name suggests, the design is rooted in highly-technical, rugged, and tall hiking boots, although Bad Bunny's take indulges in a future-forward aesthetic that evokes images from the now-defunct adidas YEEZY line.
The Superteam Cavehiker was initially previewed by Benito's close friend and creative director Janthony Oliveras before forming part of the Adidas Para Bad Bunny: The Archive exhibit in Puerto Rico.

Akin to other Bad Bunny x adidas Originals collaborations, the fashion-forward hiker draws inspiration from the expansive adidas Archive. The "Superteam" nomenclature evokes images of adidas Basketball footwear from the early 2000s—including the original Mad Handle—which informed the design of the Superteam 2000 S, a modern sneaker that's been rebranded as the Mad IIInfinity.
Furthermore, the "Cavehiker" element nods to old school trekking and hiking boots from the adidas Archive—model that include the adidas Trekker, EQT Katmai. Trail running shoes like early adidas Response sneakers likely informed the Superteam Cavehiker as well.
Stay tuned for firm adidas.com release details. Whenever the tall silhouette launches, it's expected to land in a variety of earth tones.
