Despite only having a population of 3.2 million, Puerto Rico has a lot of the world's attention right now. Over the next month, Benito Martínez Ocasio—known across the globe as "Bad Bunny"—is set to make history with his NO QUIERO IR ME DE AQUÍ residency at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. In anticipation of the occasion, Bad Bunny and Adidas Originals have prepped the Gazelle Indoor City Series.

Kicked off last summer with the release of a blue-colored style dedicated to San Juan, the island-nation's capital, the City Series lineup follows a longstanding Adidas tradition. Fashionable, well-performing designs are branded with the names of specific cities, often drawing inspiration from that place's fandom of 3-Stripes-branded footwear. Bad Bunny's efforts are more so a love letter to his home country, with the latest trio of Adidas Gazelles aiming to shine the light on lesser-known destinations in Puerto Rico.

Over the last year, the 31-year-old has teased two of the impending pairs, building excitement for his ongoing partnership with the German sportswear institution. He's also previewed his first original signature model, allegedly titled Adidas BADBO, but his affinity for well-established Adidas models is evident with the three Gazelle Indoor pairs inspired by the El Yunque rainforest, Cabo Rojo's pink salt flats, and Santurce's music scene.

All three styles feature Bad Bunny's tweaks to the standard Gazelle Indoor—size labels on the spine, different panel layout on the forefoot, "loose" stitching on the tongue—as well as each location's name on the lateral profile. Semi-translucent outsoles also opt for finishes that complement the green, pink, and orange ensembles above.

According to the brand, select colorways from the Gazelle City Series will be
available exclusively to residents of Puerto Rico, with "El Yunque" and "Santurce" pairs exclusively available right now across the island. The Bad Bunny x Gazelle Indoor "Cabo Rojo" is expected globally on Adidas.com come Saturday, July 26.
