Could it be the Happy Gilmore influence? Who knows, but Bad Bunny's adidas BadBo 1.0 sneaker recently appeared in golf shoe-form.
Thanks to Instagram user and Bad Bunny-fanatic @hypedsolutions, the world has been able to see the modified silhouette. While a sample, the unreleased BadBo Golf shoe demonstrates Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio and team's consistent exploration in design. An exhibition held in Puerto Rico during Summer 2025 showcased this previously, displaying dozens of Bad Bunny x adidas samples and prototypes.
The newly-surfaced golf shoe sees a basketball-inspired upper, which draws inspiration from the 1990s. The sole unit, however, opts for an older golf shoe aesthetic. Always one to experiment with style, Bad Bunny opts for dress shoe-reminiscent construction for the bottom-half of his BadBo sample. Spikeless, segmented traction zones are bridged together with a Torsion bar, which has appeared on handfuls of adidas Performance products over the years.
The aforementioned upper sees some of its elements done up in a classic golf shoe aesthetic, too.
Neither the Three Stripes nor the Puerto Rican superstar have acknowledged the existence of a BadBo Golf shoe as of writing, but that could change soon, although it's possible the project never makes it to adidas.com and stays in the prototype phase.
