adidas Remembers USA 1994 World Cup™ With Retro Fan Collection
The 2026 World Cup™ is only 35 days away. Logistical and infrastructure-related concerns haven't been completely ironed out just yet, but fans from all over continue to get more excited for kick off on Thursday, June 11.
adidas is no different. As the tournament's Official Match Ball provider and sponsor of crowd-favorite national teams like Argentina, Mexico, and Spain, the Three Stripes has a lot on the line. It recently produced and premiered a new football ad starring Timothée Chalamet, Bad Bunny, and Lionel Messi, among others. Additionally, the brand has just launched a retro collection to commemorate the 1994 World Cup™, which took place in the United States of America.
Back in March, adidas reissued the iconic "Denim" Away jersey worn by the U.S. men's national soccer team (USMNT) during the World Cup™ fought on home soil—sans the organization's badge. The iconic shirt was accompanied by a number of clothing, footwear, and accessories options for fans of the old school aesthetic. The company's latest lineup officially licenses branding elements from the '94 World Cup™, reissuing gear that was worn by supporters of the USMNT and attendees of football's biggest event 32 years ago.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the Woven Tracksuit, which features a patriotic red, white, and blue color scheme. adidas branding is found on both pieces, just as it's found on accompanying items. Some of the other pieces that round out the '94 World Cup™ retro range are: Graphic Sweatshirts, Graphic Shorts, and a Graphic Fan Cap.
Curiously enough, the Three Stripes is also offering a special-edition competition ball for the U.S.A.'s 250th anniversary. The football isn't technically part of the retro collection, but still celebrates football and the U.S. before the 2026 World Cup™ takes over North America during summer.
