adidas and Tennessee Officially Begin New 10-Year Partnership

adidas and the University of Tennessee have officially begun their new 10-year partnership, marking the return of the Three Stripes to Tennessee Athletics for the first time since 2014.

Beginning July 2, adidas becomes the official footwear, uniform, apparel, and sideline partner of the Volunteers, covering all 20 of the university’s varsity sports. The partnership also includes a focus on NIL, with adidas and Tennessee set to create opportunities for student-athletes across the athletic department throughout the next decade.

To introduce the new era, adidas has released a campaign film narrated by Peyton Manning. The spot features student-athletes from each of Tennessee’s 20 varsity sports and highlights the program’s tradition, fan base, and future under adidas.

The rollout will also include a new range of officially licensed Tennessee gear, with fan apparel set to launch July 10 on adidas.com. Additional product and on-field uniforms will follow, with Tennessee scheduled to reveal new adidas looks across social media next week.

The uniform rollout begins with orange uniforms on July 6, followed by white uniforms on July 7. Summitt Blue uniforms for select women’s sports will be shown on July 8, while dark mode football uniforms will be unveiled on July 9.

For Tennessee, the deal brings adidas back into the fold after more than a decade away. For adidas, it adds another major college program to its growing roster as the brand continues to expand its presence across college athletics and NIL.
