Adidas continues to celebrate the legacy of one of its most iconic models, the Superstar, with the upcoming release of the Adidas Superstar "New York" in 2025. This special edition not only marks the Superstar's 55th anniversary but also pays tribute to the 20th anniversary of the legendary "New York" Superstar from 2005.
The original "New York" edition was released to celebrate the model's 35th anniversary, and now, two decades later, Adidas is again looking to the Big Apple for inspiration. This New York edition of the Superstar closely mirrors the original design, featuring the names of the five boroughs inscribed on and between the signature Three Stripes. However, this version takes a more refined approach with a glossy white patent leather upper, offering a sleek and modern update to the classic look.
The design is completed with subtle New York branding on the tongue and heel, making this release a true homage to the city that helped define Superstar’s place in pop culture and sneaker history.
