This Adidas Samba Jane Will Have You Feeling Golden

Adidas Originals has been responsible for setting numerous trends over the last 20 years. In recent memory, the Three Stripes has been responsible for the influx of thin-soled, football-informed trainers from both storied and nascent brands. Designs like the Samba Jane combine the company's heritage with on-going trends.

Inspired by the unshakeable Mary Jane movement in footwear, the silhouette modifies the brand's longest-running shoe through a feminine lens. A classic "Gum Four" sole unit sets the stage of a thinner, more fashion-oriented upper build. A traditional tongue and lace setup is abandoned in favor of a velcro-assisted strap across the top of the foot, offering a stylish look without sacrificing lockdown. Samba text, profile swooshes, and Achilles' heel accents opt for a "Footwear White" finish, while the remainder of the top-half boasts a shimmering "Gold Metallic" presentation.
