Adidas has recently infused its in-line releases with a fresh sense of luxury, heavily influenced by its marquee collaborations with Grace Wales Bonner. The brand's iconic Samba silhouette has been a standout in this effort, with a recent duo continuing the trend of high-end design inspired by animal prints. Taking a cue from these collaborations, Adidas now introduces a sleek new version of the Samba in black pony hair, adding an elevated touch to this legendary football trainer.
Staying true to the OG black/white/gum color scheme, Adidas opts for premium materials and thoughtful design choices that take the classic model to new heights. The upper features faux black pony hair, giving the shoe a unique texture and adding a bold statement to the silhouette. Premium leather overlays on the liners, heel caps, and Three Stripes are done in a soft cream-white hue, providing a striking contrast against the deep black pony hair.
Metallic gold is used on the upper eyestay to further elevate the design, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall look. A classic gum rubber sole rounds out the design, staying true to Samba's timeless appeal while offering a fresh new take on this iconic style.
Expect a release in the Spring of 2025.
