adidas Football is getting ready for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ tournament with a number of key product launches. The event begins June 11, 2026 and yet, the Three Stripes has found time to celebrate the Chinese New Year as well.
Recently, the German sportswear juggernaut unveiled thematic collections for Real Madrid and Manchester United. Dubbed "Chinese Lucky Knot," the range boasts special decorative knot emblems rooted in the Chinese tradition (中國結) of an intricate, single cord knot representing good fortune. Items feature the detail in its fabric, across zippers, and via capsule-specific labels. Trefoil logos also make an appearance across product, denoting the festive offerings as part of the adidas Originals catalog.
Clubs like Arsenal and Bayern Munich could also receive their own "Chinese Lucky Knot" Capsules, but photos haven't been shared by the Three Stripes as of this writing. Real Madrid's items indulge in a rich blue and gold color palette, while Man U's limited collection sees hits of red, black, and gold across a jacket, hoodie, and jerseys.
Keep an eye on adidas.com for launches of all "Chinese Lucky Knot" lineups. Collections should release stateside by early February 2026 in anticipation of the Year of the Horse celebration.
