adidas Chinese New Year Jackets Set for U.S. Release May 1

adidas is bringing its Chinese New Year jacket collection to the U.S. after the pieces gained traction overseas earlier this year.

The release includes four colorways, each priced at $130, and follows a strong response during its initial drop in China, where the jackets quickly circulated across social media. The designs lean into traditional Lunar New Year themes, incorporating bold color palettes, embroidered graphics, and satin finishes that reflect the occasion.

Each jacket keeps a similar base construction, with variations across color and detailing. Red and gold options highlight more traditional tones, while darker and more neutral pairs offer a more understated take on the same concept.

The collection continues adidas’ approach of regional storytelling, bringing previously limited releases to a wider audience following strong demand.

The adidas Chinese New Year jackets will release on May 1 via adidas U.S. for $130 each.
