The Minnesota Timberwolves may currently be sitting in sixth place in the Western Conference of the 2025-26 NBA season, but its number 5 shooting guard is sure to help the squad finish the campaign strong. He'll do so in none other than the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 (AE 2).
Teased and rumored ad nauseam throughout the end of 2024 and most of 2025, the silhouette has quickly amassed a number of styles since its retail debut on Oct. 4. A "Lucid Pink/Core Black/Lucid Red" edition of the adidas Basketball sneaker first previewed across unauthorized channels on Instagram has now surfaced via official product shots, confirming that Edwards' sequel signature model will see at least one pink-accented ensemble during its lifecycle.
The sneaker, which features an overall shape similar to the beloved Anthony Edwards 1, sees its busier upper indulge in a bold, near-fluorescent "Lucid Pink" tone. Plastic elements along the profiles deviate in a pitch-dark hue that also claims real estate throughout the tongue, collar, and inner lining. A vibrant shade of red animates branding and fabric bases visible around the forefoot, making for a look that's sure to turn heads whether worn on-the-court or streets.
Stay tuned for firm adidas.com release details. The pair is expected in Men's and Kids' sizing come Jan. 17, 2026.
