Anthony Edwards’ Adidas AE 2 “Blue Fusion” Releases October 25

Following the success of the AE 1, Anthony Edwards and adidas Basketball are wasting no time building on the momentum. This fall, the Three Stripes are set to launch a new “Blue Fusion” colorway of the AE 2, marking one of the earliest inline drops for Edwards’ sophomore silhouette.

True to its name, the “Blue Fusion” comes dressed in an energetic palette of cool blues, layered atop a tech-forward build. The upper combines patterned mesh and glossy synthetic panelling for structure, while a bold forked support piece anchors the midfoot and heel. This stability feature, first spotted in early samples, has become a defining trait of the AE 2’s design language—delivering performance benefits while enhancing visual identity.

Zooming into the finer details, the low-cut model features a V-split collar and a neoprene inner bootie, optimizing lockdown and comfort for in-game movements. Underfoot, a lightweight foam midsole and aggressive traction pattern keep the pair responsive on both ends of the court.

The adidas AE 2 “Blue Fusion” will be released on October 25th in full family sizing. Adult pairs will retail for $130, while grade school and preschool sizes are priced at $100 and $80, respectively. Expect pairs to be available at adidas.com and select basketball retailers globally.
