The Adidas Adizero Running team has already left its mark on the year's first three Abbott World Marathon Majors. And while the innovative group is looking to continue its dominance in the remainder of racing season, it's offering the Evo SL in new colors for athletes looking to train like the elites.
Having already amassed a healthy roster of styles, the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO-cushioned silhouette recently launched in "Cloud White/Royal Blue" and "Cloud White/Blue Fusion" looks. Each pair is offered in either Men's or Women's sizing, respectively, and preps the beloved trainer for any summer sessions.
The newly-surfaced duo is almost identical, donning a clean ensemble across its breathable, but padded upper and widely-renowned sole unit. Profile 3-Stripes, however, indulge in different shades of blue across Men's and Women's offerings, delivering an eye-catching element sure to draw attention whether churning road miles or hitting intervals around the track.
Although the Evo SL's design and catalog of ensembles makes it a fashionable-enough sneaker for non-athletes, it performs at a high level.
Inspired by the industry-disrupting Adios Pro Evo 2, the Evo SL features the Three Stripes' tried-and-proven LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam in the midsole. Continental rubber coverage across the outsole provides fan-favorite grip. A minimal stiffening agent is wedged in-between the cushioning for some stability, although the sneaker begs to go fast.
